Junior DevOps Engineer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and deployment automation practices.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Basic scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Understanding of security best practices and DevSecOps principles.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and automation frameworks.
